It’s not nearly as bad as many reviewers claim. However, it’s really only enjoyable when watched at home; going to see this movie on the big screen wouldn't be worthwhile. The film combines elements of a dark police procedural with fantasy reminiscent of Lord of the Rings. While the premise is intriguing, most of the characters lack depth, particularly the antagonists. Joel Edgerton’s portrayal of an Orc-like figure stands out as a complete and captivating character; he truly elevates the entire experience.
