This is a nice movie with William Holden and Kay Lenz in the lead roles. The two main actors are likable and both have charm; I found their performances enjoyable, although Lenz’s performance was slightly better than Holden’s, if I had to choose. The plot starts out a little shaky but ultimately turns into something agreeable. Relationships with significant age differences can sometimes feel awkward on screen, but when handled well they can be effective—and this one seems to manage that. Clint Eastwood is the director, and while he doesn't have a major part, he does appear in a few brief background shots—one that’s easy to notice if you are paying attention. The other actors aren't particularly memorable, but they all do fine work. Apparently *Breezy* isn't one of Eastwood's more well-known films, as indicated by the fewer than 2,000 ratings it has on Letterboxd. It might not appeal to everyone, but I would suggest giving it a try; the rhythm isn’t flawless, but nothing feels slow or tedious.
