Even though it’s turning ninety years old this year, the film remains surprisingly entertaining. While the physical comedy that defined Stan and Ollie’s style hasn’t entirely stood the test of time, there are still moments that elicit a chuckle. The adult characters simply desire a peaceful night playing games like checkers and billiards without interruptions from their energetic children—Ollie is clean-shaven in this instance. As expected, the kids cause trouble, and when they're sent to bed, the situation escalates as they playfully interact with comically large props. The adults’ attempt at a lullaby would be shockingly loud! It provides an enjoyable experience.
