This action movie, appearing late in John Wayne’s filmography, doesn't amount to much overall. However, the final portion—specifically the last quarter hour—is so remarkably bad that it's difficult to accept Douglas Hickox was behind it; he usually produced work of a respectable quality, occasionally even something exceptional, like Theatre of Blood. It’s really only worthwhile for those who are die-hard John Wayne enthusiasts.
