What an alluring and exciting romance—it has some real intensity! The film is adapted from a novel and feels like a genuine work of art. Gary Oldman’s portrayal of Dracula truly carries the movie; his fixation on Winona Ryder's character is unsettling and deeply affecting. Keanu Reeves doesn’t detract from it at all, he performs admirably. Anthony Hopkins takes on the part of Dr. Van Helsing, familiar to audiences because of Hugh Jackman. There are a few moments with nudity, as well as a particularly steamy scene featuring Winona running through the garden in her nightgown. I award Bram Stoker's Dracula 5 stars and place it among my personal Top 10 films of all time. It’s absolutely essential viewing!
