Boy Kills World really comes into its own with the impressive action sequences and unrestrained violence that will appeal to fans of the genre. While the story centered on revenge doesn’t fully take off from a narrative perspective, feeling somewhat shallow and lacking depth thematically, the many scenes showcasing creatively choreographed fights are diverting enough for most viewers. The humor works well within the film's overall tone, but be prepared for the unrestrained depiction of blood, brutality, and inventive uses of ordinary objects in combat. It’s a solid choice for a weekend with nothing else to do. Rating: B-
