The first ten minutes were rough, and already the performances felt off. The actors seemed to be grinning as if it were some kind of joke, which clashed with the atmosphere and setting. It's hard to understand how something with such detailed sets, costumes, and backgrounds could feature characters so uninteresting and a plot that feels so easily dismissed. Perhaps this is due to the movie adapting from a video game? Regardless, it’s still disappointing. There are simply too many people involved, preventing any real development of individual personalities. It might have been better to focus on just one or two characters, with more depth added in a potential follow-up film.
