Despite some significant problems with its believability, I found myself enjoying this movie anyway. Jamie Lee Curtis and Ron Silver were both captivating; their chemistry was apparent whether they were developing feelings for each other or engaged in conflict. The soundtrack by Brad Fiedel was quite good—I actually preferred it to Tangerine Dream’s score for Bigelow's earlier film, Near Dark. If you are willing to overlook the plot inconsistencies and simply relax and experience it, it turns out to be a rather satisfying picture.
