It’s a nice film for a Sunday viewing. I generally look for something more than just stories of hardship and negative outcomes when I watch movies centered on LGBTQ+ characters, but even though the gay aspect isn't really the main thing in this movie, it’s still possible to grasp what the central character is experiencing and feel connected to her. The connection she has with the male character also feels genuine and creates a sense of understanding.
