I was hoping to enjoy this movie; I truly wanted to. However, I'm left wondering whether the problem lies with my understanding of it or simply that the film itself isn’t very good. It’s true that zombie movies have been done countless times, and this one attempts something different by incorporating Indian cultural aspects—that much is refreshing, admittedly. Beyond that single element, though, I don't find anything particularly distinctive about it when put up against other films in the genre. And to be clear, my expectations for zombie movies aren’t high; generally, I like most of them. For some reason, this one just didn’t connect with me. Would I watch it again? Definitely not. Would I recommend it to anyone I know? Absolutely not!
