This marks the third collaboration between these actors, and unfortunately, it doesn't fare well. The film’s merits lie in its comedic elements, rather than the acting itself. While the setting—South Africa—showed promise, it wasn't utilized effectively; instead, it was treated with a degree of mockery that felt predictable. I recall times when I would laugh heartily at Sandler's humor, but he isn’t quite the same performer anymore; my reactions are now limited to occasional smiles. As for Barrymore, she has always been an actress I admired—and I hope she still is—but her recent film choices have been underwhelming, and it seems like she’s not as active in the industry. Bella Thorne's appearance was a pleasant surprise, striking with a tomboyish style, and I am hoping to see more of her work going forward. I later discovered that Dale Steyn makes a cameo, something I wasn't aware of until watching the film. He’s an icon on the cricket field, but Sandler’s jokes at his expense felt disrespectful, though I ultimately dismissed it as characteristic of a lighthearted movie. The film resembles those classic animated shorts from television—individual segments are amusing, but they don’t quite coalesce into a cohesive whole.
