I wasn’t prepared for how good this was. It's a biographical sports drama about an exceptionally gifted young American boxer whose career took a devastating turn after a car accident. The story then follows his difficult journey back, as he deals with the aftermath of such a severe injury. What really stood out was the acting. Miles Teller in the main role was especially good; his progress in Hollywood has been remarkable, and this is another film that deserves to be seen. The supporting performances were also excellent. If you enjoy boxing or sports movies, this one should appeal to you, but it’s more than just a sports story—there's enough dramatic depth to create a compelling narrative. It seems like the movie hasn't gotten the attention it deserves, and for a Hollywood production, the recognition has been surprisingly limited. I think that will change over time, as a wider audience discovers it. The director is the one who really benefits from this film’s success, and he should capitalize on it with future projects because I hope to see even greater things from him. It's easily among the best films of the year, so be sure to check it out. _8/10_
