It feels like a standard gangster film, so readily transferable to various European settings over the past few decades with minimal adjustments. It provides exactly what you’re looking for in terms of action sequences, though it doesn't leave much of an impression afterward. The plot is entirely foreseeable, and the characters simply fulfill their expected functions. Damon Younger deserves a nod for his portrayal of the crime boss Bruno; he delivers a solid performance despite the character lacking depth. It's acceptable entertainment within its genre, but ultimately unremarkable.
