A test pilot named Robert Clarke, portraying "Maj. Allison," experiences a journey through time, landing in 2024. The airbase he arrives at is noticeably altered; it’s revealed that an epidemic has rendered humanity infertile. Consequently, the survivors view him as something of an asset—particularly “Princess Trirene” (Darlene Tompkins), who happens to be the daughter of the wary "Supreme" (Vladimir Sokoloff), a character reminiscent of "Ming" but without the traditional attire. Recognizing his situation, the airman must discover how to return to the 1960s before he’s exploited in a manner that would be shocking, even by standards of censorship. The question becomes whether he can manage this journey and what implications it holds for the fabric of space-time. Despite its somewhat flimsy nature, the narrative proves enjoyable and manages to fill its run time of about 75 minutes. However, expectations should remain modest. The performances are rigid, accompanied by equally unremarkable dialogue delivered in a choppy style. The sets—largely constructed from cardboard and papier-mâché—are too transparently artificial to convincingly represent outdoor locations or even appear realistic, which is typical for these inexpensive afternoon movies. It’s certainly watchable and provides some amusement, though perhaps not as originally intended by Ed Ulmer.
