It's not terrible, but it feels strangely dated. The impressive cast is what really stands out; otherwise, I would have guessed this film was made considerably earlier than its actual release date. The dialogue felt peculiar, combining modern language with an artificial medieval style, and the special effects were… not exactly awful, but they gave off a vibe more suited to the early 1990s rather than the mid-2000s. _Final rating:★★½ - There was much I liked about it, but it didn’t entirely succeed._
