The film took in $5.5 million at the box office. It’s unusual; I don't think I’ve ever watched something without any real human villains, but it was completely captivating. I've encountered similar stories in books before, of course, but those didn’t make me feel quite so invested. Everyone probably has a fantasy like this at some point, and the movie manages to present it as possible. Afterwards, I honestly wondered if Ethan and Julie had been romantically involved because their dialogue felt incredibly natural. It's something you really should experience.
