Somnia initially grabs your attention with a promising setup—an engaging story, pleasant settings, and characters you can connect with. However, the film quickly unravels. It’s filled with illogical instances, leading to disagreement with nearly every decision made by the central figures, and the unfolding events feel completely detached from reality. If you go in knowing what to expect, don't anticipate a horror film or even much of a fantasy; it’s a combination that didn’t appeal to me personally. The visual effects are commendable, though. To put it simply, the core problem lies with the script and the implausible scenarios presented. I won’t reveal specifics, but the term "careless people" might shed light on my reservations. On a separate note, Jacob Tremblay delivers an excellent performance. _(4 stars out of 10)_
