Growing up, I often found myself spending hours by myself in a room with an old, small television—the kind no one would use today—connected to a VCR and just three movies on VHS tapes. Among those few choices, _Bedknobs and Broomsticks_ stood out as the absolute best, and I watched it repeatedly, day after day, for extended periods. It's a musical set in the past that involves children and a witch who enlist an army of animated suits of armor to confront the Nazis... It’s easy to see how that might have influenced my development. It really is a wonderful film. I wouldn’t mind seeing it reimagined with updated technology, as long as they managed to preserve its original feel and atmosphere. _Final rating:★★★★ - Very strong appeal. A personal favourite._
