The film’s excessive length is a significant problem, as there isn’t a clear narrative to maintain engagement or spark curiosity. While the production quality is impressive, creating a visually opulent atmosphere, that alone cannot compensate for its lengthy running time. Beau seems perpetually beset by misfortune, continually finding himself in worse situations despite doing nothing wrong. This repetitive pattern grows tiresome quickly. I needed to break up my viewing into four separate viewings; there was no chance I would have managed to watch it continuously. I’ve experienced three-hour movies that feel much shorter... this one dragged on endlessly, and the length became very noticeable.
