A man finds himself under a spell that reveals his potential for unsettling behavior rather than outright hostility. It’s hard to imagine anyone acting like any of these people in real life, and even if they did, the film would still be bad. The only reason it doesn't completely bomb is thanks to LisaGay Hamilton and Neil Patrick Harris, who, despite their characters being absurd, manage to be somewhat likable. (He’s quite a bit more attractive as The Beast.) _Final rating:★½: - Dull/unfulfilling. Steer clear if you can._
