_Batman & Robin_ provides enjoyment in a singular fashion—it's amusing to mock. The film is awful, truly dreadful, yet its awfulness possesses a certain quality that makes it worthwhile viewing, even if it can’t escape being terrible. Joel Schumacher concludes what feels like the demise of Batman with George Clooney portraying the iconic hero, likely the worst version of Batman ever committed to film. Clooney's casting was surprisingly fitting when considering only Bruce Wayne, the billionaire playboy; however, any fan will confirm that the core of the character is Batman himself, and Bruce Wayne is merely a disguise. This isn’t really a criticism, but it's something I feel compelled to mention: The film featuring Batman and Robin is titled _Batman Forever_, while the one with Batman, Robin, and Batgirl simply goes by _Batman & Robin_.
