I brought my daughter with me, thinking we’d have an easygoing, enjoyable experience suitable for a family, but that wasn't the case at all. The most generous description I can give of this film would be that it’s filled with negativity and apparent dislike of men. It presents ideas that I don't want my child to absorb. My daughter felt like leaving even before I mentioned it, so we did, and ended up having a much better time doing something different together. To put it briefly, I found the movie unpleasant and bitter. Hollywood is experiencing a drop in audience numbers for good reason, especially if this represents what they have to show.
