The film Ballerina depicts Ok Ju’s determined quest for retribution following the unfortunate death of her dear friend, Min Hee, whose concealed pain sets off a powerful emotional and action-filled undertaking. Though the movie provides striking dance sequences, crisp imagery, and convincing portrayals by the cast, some aspects of the characters' histories and reasons behind their actions feel insufficiently developed. It combines visually impressive action with a sensitive consideration of sorrow, faithfulness, and the often unseen burdens individuals experience.
