I really didn’t get what I expected from this movie. I seriously doubt that the director will be working with major stars again after this one; it's among the worst movies I've seen recently. If you’re a devoted fan of the main actor, you might find something to appreciate, but it’s not broadly appealing. When I say everyone, I mean it seems designed specifically for an Indian audience and feels more like a typical Telugu commercial film than what I associate with Tamil cinema. I went primarily because of Keerthy; this was my first time seeing her work. It felt like a significant step up for her, although the entry wasn’t entirely successful—aside from its decent box office performance. As is common with films featuring big stars, the songs and emphasis on portraying the hero's strength disrupted the narrative. The story isn't driven by unexpected developments or emotional depth; instead, the lead actor/character dictated everything according to his own preferences. This “mass” approach began with Rajinikanth, but he evolved his storytelling style to international standards in 'Kabali'. Those who followed him haven’t quite grasped that technique yet. It might have been more effective if it had been a Tollywood film starring their actors. The movie contains numerous scenes that don't ring true, and the stunts are particularly egregious. The character PK resembled the villain Adisheshan from 'Sivaji'. The ending felt completely unbelievable—and not in a good way; it was just ridiculous, which undermined everything that happened before. I was shocked when the hero pledged to deliver justice and then abruptly changed his strategy at the end. It wasn't really a twist; it seemed like the writer simply couldn’t figure out how to resolve the plot and ended up botching the conclusion. Honestly, I would suggest seeking out smaller Indian films—those with lesser-known actors and directors—rather than these kinds of formulaic movies. _3/10_
