Badland Hunters has its strengths and weaknesses. The action sequences are plentiful and skillfully staged. The special effects are impressive, and the characters, while familiar, are consistently portrayed. The performances are certainly worthwhile. Still, the plot itself is fairly ordinary, leading to a resolution that feels underwhelming. Ultimately, it's an acceptable film, but not particularly memorable, and would have been improved with a more inventive narrative.
