I only made it through about half of the movie. I’ve never really connected with Andre’s brand of bizarre comedy, and this film didn’t convince me otherwise. I did appreciate that there was some kind of story holding together a few of the gags, even if the plot felt too artificial—maybe intentionally so—and only served as a break between segments. It also seemed odd to see Lil Rel Howery taking Hannibal Buress's place; it makes you wonder if it has something to do with Buress no longer being involved in _The Eric Andre Show_.
