The character Baby, portrayed by Elgort, comes across as a reserved young man who cares for his sick foster parent. He listens to music both because he enjoys it and to mask the tinnitus caused by a past accident that also claimed his parents' lives. Due to an obligation, Baby works for a criminal boss named Doc, using a particular talent to settle a debt. Baby’s skill lies in driving—not just any kind of driving, but the precise maneuvering needed to quickly transport Doc's group of armed robbers away from bank robberies and evade pursuing police cars, outsmarting their tactics with his own while accompanied by an intense music soundtrack playing on his iPod. As Baby sees a chance for a better life, he meets Debora (James), a waitress, and they share an immediate connection; he views this as the path to freedom and a fresh start. However, Doc isn’t finished with him, abruptly halting those hopes. The film heavily relies on its music soundtrack, and it's quite impressive. Featuring songs like "Nowhere to Run" by Martha and the Vandellas and the classic driving song "Radar Love" by Golden Earring, viewers will find themselves enjoying both the action sequences and the music itself, along with Baby’s stylish driving skills. The acting is consistently strong; Elgort, James, and González all deliver noteworthy performances. Spacey, Hamm, and Foxx provide memorable supporting roles. While Spacey maintains his characteristic calm demeanor, Hamm and Foxx bring charm and a sinister edge to their characters, Buddy and Bats, respectively. Jon Bernthal’s brief appearance as the wary and volatile Griff was also entertaining. Written and directed by Edgar Wright, known for his cult following, this film fits well alongside other heist movies like *Drive*, *The Getaway*, and *Heat*. *Baby Driver* was one of the most enjoyable movie experiences I've had in theaters this year, right up there with *Wonder Woman* and *Spider-Man: Homecoming*.
