It’s certainly an enjoyable film if you’re deeply invested in the Marvel franchise or appreciate visual effects. Still, there’s a noticeable decline in the creativity coming from Marvel Studios. The direction the story takes becomes predictable early on, roughly ten percent of the way through. There's virtually no growth for any of the characters, and the plot twists feel clumsy. It relies heavily on tired tropes and humor that feels cheap. Considering it’s the twenty-first century, it’s disappointing to see them still leaning so hard into a simplistic fairy tale formula and basic visual spectacle. The primary goal seems to be updating audiences on what's happening with these established characters. While likely a successful financial venture, it’s disheartening for the art of filmmaking. It feels like an obvious cash grab using familiar intellectual property without bringing anything new to the table. The heroic fantasy is rooted in a time period that passed half a century ago. They should take inspiration from contemporary Japanese manga and anime—not works like *One Piece* or *Naruto*. Assembling characters from diverse backgrounds and then labeling it a universe is frankly ridiculous.
