Okay, so here are just a few quick thoughts that I wanted to jot down because it's way past one in the morning, and I need to get some sleep so I can be rested enough to see _Endgame_ again. Right off the bat, I’m saying that _Avengers: Endgame_ is my favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. It’s also my favorite film this year, although I've only seen about ten movies from 2019, and this is the twenty-second installment in the MCU, so it feels like a much bigger deal. I can't claim that it's flawless; there are some things happening within the movie itself that don’t quite seem to fit together (though maybe another viewing will change my mind), and not every single scene is as good as it could possibly be. But I really, truly loved this film. I do want to mention though, the reason why I enjoyed it so much is because it's packed with fan service. If you aren’t invested in the franchise’s previous 21 movies, _Endgame_ probably won't convince you to start watching. Maybe a later movie will manage that, but this one feels like a conclusion—the end of _Infinity War_, Phase 3, and a farewell to everything Marvel has done over the last eleven years. That was amazing to me, and I’m thankful for it, but I can't see how someone without any connection to these characters would appreciate it. But for me? It earns my first 9 out of 10 rating in **three years**. _Final rating:★★★★½ - Extremely powerful appeal. It won’t leave my head._
