It’s certainly not a cinematic masterpiece, but the film seems aware of that fact and embraces its shortcomings with an amusing attitude. There are some enjoyable moments sprinkled throughout, though it lacks any real suspense, and the humor feels rather lowbrow. Still, it's probably not unpleasant to watch. It evokes a more lighthearted period in filmmaking, featuring clowns and tomatoes in unexpected ways.
