The film could have been much stronger if its messaging hadn’t overshadowed the narrative itself. It felt like an obvious platform for pushing certain viewpoints, complete with what I found to be irritating and repetitive attempts at moralizing. There’s a character, Zoe, who constantly brings up pronouns and climate change, while artificial intelligence is portrayed as wanting to "reset" humanity—a familiar trope. The story itself just doesn't go anywhere compelling; it’s predictable and follows a standard formula. On the positive side, there are some visually impressive special effects and detailed explanations of the technology, but that’s really all I could find to appreciate. Ultimately, it comes across as an empty science fiction spectacle with a heavy-handed agenda. I won't be watching it again.
