The movie centers on "Zach" (Joel Courtney) and "Randy" (Calum Worthy), two friendly young men who consider themselves outsiders, along with their friend "Kayla" (Andi Matichak). They embark on a project to document their town through video recordings. Over time, they notice unsettling changes in the people around them. The atmosphere shifts from peaceful to disturbed, and it appears the local minister may hold the key to what’s happening. Despite the concerns of deputy "Haywood" (Cam Gigandet), they begin looking into things, quickly finding themselves caught up in something disturbing. The actors are passable, but the plot is weak—it resembles “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” though with a much smaller budget, making it more like a slow takeover than an outright invasion. The unsettling behavior isn't limited to those who have been taken over. It’s clear that the production was low-budget and not particularly enjoyable, and the dialogue is unremarkable. For some unexplained reason, the possessed characters are depicted as being unclothed—it doesn’t seem to serve a purpose, but it might be the only thing people will mention about this film, which feels like nothing more than something put out just to fill time.
