It's frequently enjoyable to discover a film shifting into an unexpected Horror direction, but Armed Response doesn’t offer any such enjoyment. The few positive aspects vanish quickly. One thing that really bothers me is when a sound effect intended to distress the characters ends up being painful for the viewers as well. Armed Response relies heavily on this irritating, drawn-out beep. It's frustrating how filmmaking hasn't evolved past using these intensely loud and unpleasant noises. The sound alone made me want to stop watching; with Armed Response, stopping might have been a good idea. It was just an absurd 93 minutes. _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing.
