The story begins in a place where many people are obsessed with boats. We meet "Mr X" ("Goofy/George"), who used to have an ordinary job. However, after seeing a boat shop, his thoughts completely shift toward the water. It’s like he's got waterlogged; his mind is consumed by it. He decides that he and his family need a boat, envisioning water-skiing for "Junior." So, these people who aren't accustomed to being on the water—along with their boating neighbors—go to the closest lake, leading to some silly, race-like events. I’m not convinced this reflects well on American car manufacturers, but there are a few amusing expressions as the activities on the water start resembling a dangerous kind of workout. There's an event similar to a Roman chariot race, and even the octopuses are in danger—but will they be able to win?! It runs for longer than necessary, but it’s still enjoyable.
