It’s nowhere near as good as _Wonder Woman_, but it's significantly better than other movies from DC Films. It’s strangely gentle, perhaps the most agreeable of these films—an unexpected path for something in this series given its beginnings. Jason Momoa is incredibly charismatic, and _Aquaman_ really emphasizes that. By the end, _Aquaman_ incorporates almost every trope common to the superhero genre, which isn't exactly a compliment. It has some warmth, but it’s mostly about visual display rather than depth. However, unlike something like _Transformers 4_, which receives similar criticism, this one isn’t bad. _Final rating:★★★ - I liked it. I would suggest checking it out._
