A gathering of college friends finds themselves targeted and eliminated at a remote house… It's genuinely entertaining—Fred Walton, Frank Mancuso Jr., and Danilo Bach playfully engage with the fascination for slasher movies that was prevalent in the eighties, creating a horror film filled with dark humor. Filmmakers attempting to satirize the genre often miss the mark, but this one succeeds. It’s not groundbreaking cinema, certainly, yet it offers memorable deaths, unexpected developments, and an inventive story that gained recognition later on. Horror movie tropes are followed with a humorous approach, especially the ending which will likely frustrate some viewers while amusing others. The film earns a 7/10.
