It seems to me that those who consider this movie a classic might be mistaken; the one scene that sticks with me is the napalm sequence with the line about loving the smell in the morning. Everything else felt incredibly dull and meandering, giving the impression that whoever made it was out of their mind—there's a particularly disturbing scene where they’re brutally dismembering a cow...it really offended me. The movie just feels strange; none of the characters left an impression on me, not even Marlon Brando's. The plot seems to be missing, and the conclusion is simply awful. I have to say this film is completely dreadful, and frankly, I don’t care about other people’s opinions—I did not find it enjoyable in any way.
