I had anticipated _Apartment Zero_ with considerable interest, though ultimately it didn’t fully satisfy me. It seemed to be striving for profundity, incorporating political elements that were overly obvious in advance, which diverted attention from the more compelling psychological aspects I was hoping for. The deliberate pacing led me to glance at my watch on several occasions; what should have been captivating instead drifted into a theatrical presentation. Nevertheless, Colin Firth delivered an excellent performance as Adrian, embodying his character’s nervous and uncomfortable nature exceptionally well, and Hart Bochner contributed sufficient charm alongside a disturbing quality that helped maintain some energy. Dora Bryan and Liz Smith also appeared in smaller roles, injecting moments of amusement and quirkiness. It wasn't exceptional, but the acting made it bear watching.
