This mockumentary offered a peculiar experience. The initial presentation creates anticipation in the audience, suggesting something bizarre and demonic is coming. However, when the actual film begins, it’s quite different, though it still manages to hold your focus. Ideally, that's what a movie should accomplish; however, some viewers might discover it tedious or feel misled. Essentially, the narrative follows a cursed film whose power only affects those who believe in its curse. What unfolds on screen is merely a facade for a deeper progression—a descent into darkness. In this way, *Antrum* evokes a feeling of supernatural and satanic rituals through its use of visual and sound techniques. It’s worthwhile to decide for yourself if the film's reputation as cursed is justified. For me, it brought to mind Everything Is Terrible! Presents: The Great Satan (2017); whether you enjoy it or not, it’s likely to stick with you.
