The plot felt somewhat lacking, and the disagreement between Nolte’s and Murphy's characters didn't make much sense—it wasn't clear why Cates would use the money Reggie had as leverage in his inquiry. The action sequences were decent enough, culminating in an exaggerated shootout with a lot of shattered glass. It serves its purpose as something to pass the time, but it’s not particularly striking or unforgettable.
