The performance by Paddy Jenkins, as Father O’Shea, is noteworthy in this story about two brothers brought back together following their mother's passing. "Turlough," portrayed by Seamus O'Hara, had gone to England for work and upon his return intends to sell the family home, which is still occupied by his younger brother, “Lorcan,” who has Down Syndrome. As anticipated, the comedy leans toward the bleak side ("is she still warm?") and the dialogue is colorful, yet it possesses a genuine quality as the younger man attempts to complete a list of one hundred things their mother wished to do before her death. There are amusing moments involving an urn and Tai Chi, and they even have a brief experience with space – in a manner of speaking! It's enjoyable viewing that explores themes of family, love, and connection.
