This felt like something I’d already seen before, and the cast didn't quite deliver what I hoped for. The director’s debut, 'Project X', was a complete surprise – I really enjoyed that one purely for its entertainment value. After that film, I assumed we’d see a series of movies, maybe called 'Project XX,' 'Project Y,' then 'XXX,' and so on, establishing his unique approach to filmmaking. However, this installment didn't quite succeed in doing that. It lacks a real narrative, essentially centering around events from one evening extended into another day, interspersed with short flashback conversations intended to complement the plot. The overall feel was like a comedic take on 'Hitman.' The red band trailer showed quite a bit, but even so, the film still managed to offer fresh perspectives on those same scenes. I honestly didn’t think Jesse Eisenberg would be cast in this kind of role, and he performed well, though it felt somewhat limited. If there's another one, I’m hoping for more impressive action sequences and a stronger sense of adventure. The animation during the end credits was enjoyable, at least. Kristen Stewart seemed to just be present, even though her character had the potential to significantly impact the story; hopefully, a sequel will develop that aspect further. I'm fairly sure there will be a follow-up based on how this film concludes – it would be a real missed opportunity if they didn’t make one. Ultimately, it provides decent entertainment, but it's not the kind of original story you might anticipate. 6/10
