Chris (played by Pierre Perrier) is an attractive, disheveled young man from France who enjoys physical intimacy – with anyone, it seems. He encounters Aurora (Lizzie Brocheré), a girl of Franco-American heritage, and together they embark on a journey across the French countryside. The complication arises because Chris has a fascination with asphyxiation, which unfortunately results in some deaths! As their travels take them through various parts of France in a camper van, inevitably, the Sûreté takes notice. There are moments when it feels more like an erotic display than genuine sexuality; while nudity is present, actual sexual encounters are scarce—it’s suggestive rather than explicit, and that approach occasionally succeeds. However, I didn't feel any connection to either of the characters, and Aurora’s descent into something darker just didn't seem believable. Ultimately, it feels like gentle, unusual pornography with a plot that is filmed in a bland way and portrays self-destruction without much interest.
