It's an enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and feel comfortable suggesting to others. However, it requires some explanation because it's a superhero movie centered on a character struggling with addiction. It ventures beyond what "Hancock" skirted around. Another important thing to note is the filmmaking style; it uses a “found footage”/“mockumentary” approach, and there are moments where the protagonist directly addresses an unseen cameraman—a situation that wouldn’t be plausible unless he were floating the camera like in "Chronicle," which isn't possible at all times. It doesn't have the charm or humor of “Deadpool,” either. Despite these aspects, I found the movie quite entertaining. The characters are largely humorous, and there is some well-executed action alongside writing that’s surprisingly detailed, with a nice slow progression in both the plot and how the characters develop.
