What happens to a family when a mother is diagnosed with cancer, and how does it feel to move two American girls to Taiwan? It's clear that these are very different cultures and ways of life. The film was recognized with twelve nominations and three wins at the Golden Horse Film Festival in 2021 for “Narrative Feature,” “Best Cinematography”, and “Best New Director.” The plot follows Lily, who must move from Los Angeles to Taiwan along with her two daughters to be with her husband while she receives treatment for cancer.
