This movie, which I watched when it came out on DVD, creates a genuinely unsettling atmosphere through its awkwardness and discomfort, utilizing a found footage format—the entire film appears to be captured by hidden cameras. Colin Hanks delivers an effectively creepy performance, and Ana Claudia Talancon is excellent in her debut English-language role. Considering the movie’s release 18 years ago, it's striking how much simpler it has become to track someone down thanks to social media and the growth of the internet since then. **3.5/5**
