Having gotten the new 4K version, I opted to experience the Director's Cut (Untitled) for the very first time, as I’d previously viewed the theatrical release a few times throughout the years—though it had been quite some time since my last viewing. Regardless, it remains an excellent film, even if you don’t have extensive knowledge of rock and roll music. The movie boasts a fantastic group of actors delivering consistently strong performances; Hudson and Crudup particularly impressed me, and the original score combined well with the established hits. **4.5/5**
