It's an odd pairing that sets out to locate a missing woman. The movie follows a recognizable structure, though there were attempts to introduce something fresh—these efforts didn’t entirely pay off, even if I found it to be watchable. The narrative unfolds over the course of a single day and night, with a brief introduction and conclusion extending beyond that timeframe. It centers on a young man who is somewhat lacking in ambition teaming up with his former girlfriend's wealthy father to search for her after she stops communicating. This concerned pair embarks on an adventure, encountering various surprising individuals and situations as they work toward their goal. The plot itself felt dull, but the acting was strong and the film moved at a good clip. Clocking in under 90 minutes, it’s a consistently engaging experience. It's unlikely everyone will consider it particularly impressive or even adequate, because there isn’t really a story—instead, it feels like an adventure documentary composed of one event after another. JK Simmons delivered a wonderful performance; 'Whiplash' demonstrated his abilities, and he continues to impress with roles like this one. If you’re looking for something to watch, the film is worthwhile for him alone. Tipton was attractive, but her screen time amounted to just 3 or 4 minutes throughout the entire movie. It’s worth seeing, though not essential viewing. _5/10_
