It immediately brought Gordon Ramsay to mind—there’s a lot of harsh language! Sigourney Weaver is as captivating as ever, and Charles S. Dutton and Charles Dance provide solid performances; Dutton’s in particular stood out. I appreciated the music and that we finally see more of the alien itself, which was something I'd hoped for from the earlier installments. The story isn't amazing but it holds your attention, and the finale is quite satisfying. My main complaint concerns the script—as mentioned earlier—because the language feels excessive; it’s almost constant toward the end. I don’t mind profanity in general, but this movie seems to rely on it too much. It's a noticeable step down from the previous two films, even though *‘Alien³'* still managed to entertain me. It marked David Fincher’s first time directing a feature film.
