This film is fairly unremarkable, particularly when held up against earlier entries in the Alien series, including even Alien 3. The storyline occasionally becomes quite convoluted, and the characters don't leave much of an impression; some come across as exaggerated caricatures. It feels like a calculated effort to exploit a popular brand for financial gain. I’d suggest it only if you’re already devoted to the franchise or in the mood for a forgettable action-horror film to enjoy with acquaintances.
